Academic and formatting standards

  • all papers (regardless of whether primary research or theoretical article/critical review) must observe APA recommendations for social publications; please, use APA 6 or APA 7 in developing your paper.
  • both Abstracts and Full Papers must be submitted as DOC or DOCX documents (MS Word format).
  • it is highly recommended that papers written in English be proofread before submission either by using professional proofreading services or English speakers with native or almost native proficiency.

Article types

  • we welcome both research articles and theoretical contributions (e.g., critical reviews);

note: regardless if the submission is a research article or a theoretical paper, it must present a clear and substantial theoretical and/or practical contribution to the advancement of the state of the art (current state of knowledge).

Abstract contents

  • the Abstract:

    • must be between 150 and 250 words in length
    • can be structured or unstructured
  • keywords:

    • must be placed at the end of the Abstrac (under it), in the same document that contains the Abstract
    • each Abstract must be accompanied by 3 to 5 keywords

Naming conventions

  • the name of the document/file that contains the Full Paper (note that this is not the same with the name of the article):
    • must be of the form <LAST_NAME_CORRESPONDENCE_AUTHOR>_<FIRST_NAME_CORRESPONDENCE_AUTHOR>_<NUM_COAUTHORS>.docx; for instance: POP_FLORIN_3.docx is the name of the file submitted by the correspondence author with the last name POP, first name FLORIN, and that has a total of 3 coauthors (Florin Pop included);
    • in cases when the same correspoding author submits two or more papers, and these have the same number of coathors, we ask you to add a numerical suffix at the end of the title; for instane, POP_FLORIN_3_1.docx si POP_FLORIN_3_2.docx are the titles of two papers sent by the same correspondence author (Florin Pop), which have the same number of coauthors (not necessarily the same), and the two titles of the two documents are distinguished by the numerical suffixes “1” and “2”.
  • the name of the document that contains the Abstract:
    • must observe a similar naming convention as the titles of the documents that contain the Full Papers described above; specifically, the format for the titles of the documents containing Abstracts is
_<LAST_NAME_CORRESPONDENCE_AUTHOR>_<FIRST_NAME_CORRESPONDENCE_AUTHOR>_<NUM_COAUTHORS>.docx; for instance: ABSTRACT_POP_FLORIN_3_1.docx is the title of the document containing the Abstract sent by correspondence author Florin Pop for one of his submission.
